Magnesia Bullion Block Taper edge
Magnesia Bullion Blocks is a shallow, porous block with multiple holes, made from pure Magnesite, in which gold or silver can be refined or assayed by melting with a blast of hot air which oxidizes lead or other base metals. Magnesia Bullion Blocks are made from a unique blend of Magnesium Oxide and special fluxing ingredients. Generally cupellation furnace temperatures in gold and silver assays is 900-1000°C, but varies with technique, Air flow volume and cupel material used.
